Activated Carbon Adsorbers For Liquid And Vapor Phase Applications

Source: Evoqua Water Technologies

Evoqua Water Technologies supplies activated carbon adsorbers and systems for both liquid and vapor phase applications, designed to treat a wide variety of flow rates and pressure requirements.

About Activated Carbon Adsorbers
Activated carbon is commonly used to adsorb natural organic compounds, taste and odor compounds, and synthetic organic chemicals in water treatment. Adsorption is both the physical and chemical process of accumulating a substance at the interface between liquid and solids phases. Activated carbon is an effective adsorbent because it is a highly porous material and provides a large surface area to which contaminants may adsorb.

Products and Services
Evoqua offers a full range of pre-engineered carbon adsorption equipment in a variety of configurations and designs, to handle a wide range of vapor phase and liquid phase applications. Evoqua Water Technologies systems are designed to treat a wide variety of flow rates and pressure requirements.

Our carbon filters can be easily adapted to new or existing temporary treatment processes or larger, permanently hard-piped systems which act as stand-alone filtration or in conjunction with a complete treatment process.

We also provide carbon reactivation and carbon media services. Evoqua operates three US based carbon reactivation facilities, and is the only service supplier with RCRA permitted reactivation capacity, serving both the East and West Coast of the United States.
