Wireless and Solar Powered

In 1996, RainWise introduced the first wireless, solar powered weather station for home use. Now, we offer an improved, second generation system: the WS-2000 418 MHz Wireless Weather Station.

This new version of the WS-2000 has a 33% greater range, is smaller and easier to install, includes relative humidity and dew point as standard, and is available for the same price as the original: $990 with one display.
The WS-2000 Sensor Assembly broadcasts the weather data to one or more receivers, such as the Weather Oracle Display and the WS-2000 Computer Interface. The Sensor Assembly may be mounted on a rooftop, on a remote building, or on a separate mast or tripod.

The WS-2000 measures:

Wind Speed
Wind Direction
Temperature
Barometric Pressure
Rainfall
Relative Humidity

It also:

Computes Wind Chill and Dew Point.
Stores Maximums and Minimums,
with time and date of occurrence.

Simple Installation. There are no wires or cables to install.

Sensor interface is solar powered, and includes sealed rechargeable battery.

Transmits up to 400 feet line-of-sight; put displays anywhere in the house.

There can be as many displays or computer interfaces as desired.

Operates continuously anywhere in the contiguous United States.

Rugged materials chosen for resistance to weathering and corrosion.
