Wright-Austin Drain Traps Brochure

A four-page brochure contains detailed information on the company's extensive line of Wright-Austin Drain Traps for compressed air and gas service, and explains which type of trap is best to use for each application. Traps are available for removing up to 30,900 lb of condensate per hour from lines carrying pressures from 0.5 psi to 700 psi.

The brochure is highlighted by the use of highly detailed and lifelike cutaway illustrations of three different float drain traps and three bucket traps. These graphics indicate how the various traps work and the relationship of the internal working parts to each other so the reader can easily visualize how the different traps function in their particular applications.

Several specific application drawings in the brochure show how the traps work in conjunction with an air receiving tank and on the equalizer line of a gas/liquid separator. Also included in the brochure are typical application drawings for the most common types of installations.

Two comprehensive charts, one for the float type trap and one for the bucket type, clearly show the relationships between the trap orifice diameter, differential pressure and capacity in order to aid in selecting the most efficient trap for an application.

Detailed engineering descriptions and suggested copy are included for each trap to assist in writing purchasing specifications. The brochure also discusses the design and construction of special traps for special applications.
