WEFTEC 2000: Disc Filter System

The Hydrotech disc filter system will be featured in the manufacturer's booth at WEFTEC 2000. Used in industries from food processing to pulp and paper, the products rely on a simplistic design and robust construction to help reduce maintenance and operational issues. Consisting of a disc filter unit, backwash pump and simple control unit, the system is especially suited for wastewater effluent polishing, process water filtration and other applications requiring a space-saving filter with fine filter openings and a large filter area. The units offer operational flexibility and expansion, and are available in a variety of standard sizes. The modular filter panels are secured to the disc by a single clamp, allowing easy replacement. The robust construction with few moving parts results in long service life and low maintenance costs.
