Manufacturers Service Co., Inc., (Air Handling Systems Div.)n 3-in. to 42-in., Spiral Pipe is very smooth on the inside and is used very successfully in conveying wood dust, paper trim, plastic trim, and air with particulate matter. All spiral pipe measures the even inch inside. Example 6-in.-dia. is 6-in. I.D. 5-ft.sections are available from 3-in. I.D. to 16-in. I.D. Pipe can be crimped to make one end small so it may be slipped into another piece of pipe. Crimping provides one option in connecting two pieces of pipe.
