The solvent recovery units are said to have been improved to provide a 25% higher heat transfer efficiency without the use of scraper blades assembly. The reclamation system recovers flammable, combustible or non-flammable solvents with boiling points as high as 600°F (315°C).

The design will also recover solvents from nitorcellulose-based lacquers, paints or inks. The system can be equipped with Cooling Cools that will cool the residue after the recovery has been completed. The units can be supplied with automatic feed and automatic transfer of the recovery solvent to provide a closed-loop system. Wastewaters can also be recovered and reused in the process or discharged in the sewer.
