Packed bed scrubber systems remove any gaseous pollutants from the air stream by contacting the contaminated gas with a scrubbing fluid that absorbs the contaminant into the liquid film. To increase the total surface area of the liquor so that it absorbs more contaminant gas, a packing material fills the bed.
A clean gas stream results at the end of the system, free of gaseous contaminants.

Venturi Scrubber Systems
High velocity venturi designs remove moist or explosive particulates where a cyclone or baghouse won't work.
CEE, the Wisconsin Fisher-Klosterman representative, will provide you with a venturi scrubber that accelerates the dust-laden gas through a narrow throat funnel, where liquid is injected into the stream. The resulting turbulence causes the liquid droplets to collide with the particles.
