Sampling Systems

Perma Pure Inc.'s GASS Gas Analysis Sampling Systems incorporate coalescing filter and Nafion Gas Dryer in a heated enclosure to remove these components without altering the concentrations of the analyte gases (CO, CO2, HCI, SO2, etc.) in the sample.

The sampling system removes water directly from the vapor phase using patented Nafione Gas Dryers. Consequently, water-soluble analytes are not lost through dissolution in the condensate, and the water content of the sample is reduced to a much lower dew point.

The sampling systems accepts samples containing as much as 50 percent water at rates up to 25 liters per minute and temperatures as high as 150 °C. Particulates down to 3 ltm are removed, liquids coalescing at 1050 °C or higher are eliminated, and water content is reduced to a dew point as low as -350 °C, while oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur are quantitatively retained within the sample.
