Sample Extractor

N/A of type 316 stainless steel, the zero head space extractor (ZHE +) has a capacity of 560ml. The extracted sample is pushed through a 0.7p m glass fiber filter, held between two photo-etched screens, and into a gas tight syringe or other collection vessel. The company uses an oil-filled pressure gauge to monitor filtration pressures. This feature is said to provide high accuracy and a long service life. Pressurizing gas is introduced through an Ultimate quick-disconnect fitting that allows the user one-hand operation when connecting or disconnecting the air source. A pressure relief valve is located on the bottom to vent of the unit after use. An automatic pressure relief valve is available as an option to depressurize the system. All of the bottom fittings are contained within the "footprint" of the apparatus to protect the gauge and fittings from damage when the apparatus is handled or loaded into a rotary agitator. The finished extract exits through a 316 stainless steel plug valve located on the top plate that is can be "throttled" to control the sample extract flow. A complete set of spare 0-rings and a polyethylene tool are supplied to remove the piston from the sample cylinder.
