Rotary Kilns

The HTT rotary units will burn all types of sludges, pathological, and other solid waste materials. The MSW stepped hearth system will not burn sludges. Each system will be designed within the structural frame of a Sea Land Container. Erection would involve moving the units to the site, rigging into position, and connecting utilities. Site work is minimized. If larger capacity systems are required, multiple units are used.

We offer both Stationary Hearth and Rotary Kiln Systems with models ranging from 500-4,000 lbs./hr. The stationary systems are sized based on operating with Type 0-4 (paper, cardboard, etc.) type waste. The Rotary Kiln units will operate with sludges, soil, chemicals, etc. that require constant mixing, drying, and agitation. Depending on the operating period (8-24 hrs) your plant will be able to handle amounts as indicated on the attached chart.

The energy recovered with an HR (Heat Recovery) Boiler shall be 60-65% of the gross heat input of the waste and the auxiliary fuel. Paper has a heat content of 6-7,000 BTU/lb. We estimate the steam production to be 4,000 lbs of steam per 1000 lb. of paper and trash. Because the waste will be reduced to 6-8% ash you may also reduce your hauling costs by 90%. The major electrical requirements will consist of the Induced Draft Blower, system blowers, the optional screw feeder, and the system controls.
