Reduce your operating costs and lower your catalyst volume
Reduce your operating costs.
Lower your catalyst volume.

Prototech's monolith structures create low back pressure, requiring less fan power and less energy - all to reduce operating costs. The high geometric surface area and cellular structure of monoliths allow you to run your system at higher space velocities. Compared with alternative support media, monoliths process more air volume with less catalyst, reducing space requirements without compromising performance.

Flexibility to meet air quality needs.

The modular design of Prototech's ceramic catalysts and metallic honeycomb catalysts enables Prototech to customize the size and configuration of the catalyst we supply for your system.

Over 100 options.

Not every application is identical. Pressure drop requirements, particulate size and quantity, solvent type and loading, desired destruction efficiency and space requirements all come into play when choosing the best catalyst available. Prototech offers ten cell density options from 16 cells per square inch (cpsi) to 500 cpsi. Prototech engineers build standard and custom modules using these different monoliths to meet your air quality requirements. Our 10 cell densities multiplied by our 10 different formulations in the PRO*VOC Series yields over 1 00 options to match your catalytic needs. Plus, each system profits from our wide range of patented noble metal chemistries.
All PRO*VOC Series catalysts operate at destruction efficiencies of 95 to 99+%.

Low temperature activity, high temperature stability.

The right chemistry forms the building blocks for an efficient catalyst. At Prototech, our chemists have developed a catalyst washcoat and precious metal chemistry that yield highly dispersed, finely divided precious metal particles. This high dispersion leads to "low light off." You gain high temperature stability and prevent sintering with Prototech's thermally stable washcoat.

Cleaning and rejuvenating for longer life.

The robust make-up of monoliths and strongly adhered washcoat enables the catalyst to withstand multiple cleanings, extending the life of your catalyst and keeping the cost of air pollution control, under control.
