ProBind is comprised in large part of the concentrated additives inherent within used oil and therefore has numerous valuable performance enhancing properties.
The third product of the ProTerra process is Probex's ProBind asphalt flux, or modifier. ProBind is comprised in large part of the concentrated additives inherent within used oil and therefore has numerous valuable performance enhancing properties. Asphalt products often require specialty chemicals that enhance high-temperature performance by promoting thickening or low-temperature performance by increasing elasticity. Probex believes that ProBind will be positioned against certain specialty chemical asphalt modifiers, such as block co-polymers like SBS.
