The system can be used for short term toxic gas monitoring locating the source of gas leaks, providing on-the-spot monitoring during gas cylinder changes and equipment maintenance, checking incoming gas cylinders at the time of delivery, and can provide temporary monitoring in research labs and pilot fabs. The instrument is available for more than 30 hazardous gases, and features user-adjustable, dual-level concentration alarms, LCD concentration display, audio and visual alarm indicators, and both concentration and system fault alarm relays. It can be used as an in-situ diffusion monitor with no need for sample or exhaust lines, and is capable of remote or extractive monitoring. The unit is housed in an a rugged aluminum enclosure and can be operated from either a rechargeable power pack or standard power line.
