Designed for use in potable water treatment, FloMag HP and HP-ER are reactive grades of powdered magnesium oxide. Processed from magnesium-rich brine, the product can be added directly to the water or sludge as a powder or as a slurry after hydration. These powders can be used for pH adjustment in potable and non-potable water. In treatment systems with retention times less than 10 minutes, the company recommends HP-ER. Both products are NSF certified to Standard 60 for drinking water chemicals.
