The new Easyplate system helps users increase efficiency when transporting, organizing, incubating and handling petri dishes. Autoclavable and made from chemically resistant polycarbonate, the rack provides an efficient means of preparing, organizing, storing, transporting and incubating samples. Users can transport up to 84 100-mm petri dishes in a single rack with one hand. The racks are available in two sizes, the 9 in which holds 48 dishes and the 14 in. which holds 84 dishes.
The rack features four vertical channels for storage of 100-mm. Petri dishes. The silicone edges on the channels permit random entry and retrieval of dishes without having to disturb the upper or lower portion of the stack. The dishes are inserted into the rack, media side up. A dish, or a group of dishes can be removed and the area above the removed dishes will remain securely in place.
