Permeate Sampling Valves

The permeate port sampling valve is designed for use in the membrane separations industry

The permeate port sampling valve is designed for use in the membrane separations industry. The valve provides plant operators with a way to probe reverse osmosis membrane housings to measure conductivity without getting wet. Membrane probing is a method of trouble-shooting problems before serious damage to the membrane occurs.

The unit fits most eight-in. membrane housings by threading directly into the housing permeate port. These valves provide a durable permeate connection. System downtime is reduced because probing is faster and easier. Probing allows samples to be taken quickly making it easier to locate potential problems, such as biofouling, scaling or o-ring seal leaking. Samples can be taken throughout the column length in order to isolate the problem.
