Membrane Media

PRISTYNE filter media is an expanded PTFE membrane laminate that uses a manufacturing platform similar to GORE-TEX membrane filter bags.

The media employs membrane surface filtration so that particulates are filtered out on the media's surface rather than penetrating into the media. This prevents the clogging and caking usually seen with subsurface filtering materials and permits cleaning by shaking or pulsing. Typical applications include fly ash from boilers and incinerators, cement and lime kilns, metallurgical applications, carbon black, PVC/PVA, milk, flour, sugar, and many others.
