Lung Sampling System

The Method 18 lung sampling system consists of a clear Plexiglas Tedlar bag sampling vessel, a portable pump console, a stainless steel probe and all necessary connecting tubing. The clear bag vessel has a removable top equipped with quick connects at the Tedlar bag inflation inlet, a vessel evacuation outlet connection, and a manual 3-way stainless steel valve at the sample line inlet for purging the probe prior to sample capture. The pump console is equipped with vacuum and pressure quick connect bodies, a precision rotameter, a flow control valve and a power switch along with the pump in a compact enclosed housing. All sample trail fittings are stainless steel and vessel evacuation line fittings are made of brass.
