Principal of Opration
The cooling coil brings the temperature of the incoming sample gas down to room temperature thus turning any liquids that may be in the gaseous phase into the liquid phase. After the sample is cooled, it enters the liquid / gas separator. At the heart of the separator is a porous Teflon membrane. The membrane allows gasses to pass through tiny holes in the membrane while not allowing liquid to pass due to their high surface tension quality. The separated water then falls into a liquid collection container, which can be easily emptied and the liquid free gas easily exits the separator.
