The C-Sparger System is designed specifically for removal of dissolved degreasing solvents such as PCE, TCE and DCE from contaminated groundwater and soils
The C-Sparger System is designed specifically for removal of dissolved degreasing solvents such as PCE, TCE and DCE from contaminated groundwater and soils. It is also capable of removing MTBE, BTEX, and PAHs. This efficient and widely used remediation process results in dramatic reduction of average clean-up time and costs in comparison to traditional methods. This is achievable thanks to characteristic action of KVA Spargepoints and a submersible pump which are part of the C-Sparger System.

Each C-Sparger System consists of a master control unit and one or more well assemblies.

The C-Sparger pumps an air/ozone mixture through the Spargepoints into the soil or groundwater. The micro-fine bubbles produced by the Spargepoints extract dissolved contaminant while encapsulated ozone destroys it. Pump agitation disturbs the usual cone-shaped path of the bubbles and disperses them randomly ensuring much better contact between the oxidant and the pollutant. All this contributes greatly to increasing efficiency and speed of the remediation process.
