In-Stack Cyclones

Designed to EPA specifications, the PM₂₅ and PM₁₀ in-stack cyclones perform aerodynamic separation of particulate with particular cut points of 2.5 microns and 10 microns respectively. Each cyclone set is available in either stainless steel or teflon-coated stainless steel and comes with a 47mm filter holder and a complete set of nozzles in a foam lined carrying case. The PM₂₅ set comes with six nozzles and the PM₁₀ set comes with 11 nozzles. The combination set is an assembly of the two cyclones in series that separates particulate into three fractions that are recovered from clearly defined zones within the assembly. The three particulate fractions are 10 microns and larger, less than 2.5 microns, and from 2.5 microns to less than 10 microns. The PM₁₀ cyclone and nozzles are manufactured to the design specifications in EPA Method 201A, Determination of PM₁₀ Emissions (Constant Sampling Rate Procedure). The PM₂₅ cyclone and nozzles are manufactured to the design specifications in the Draft Method for Determination of PM₁₀ and PM ₂₅ Emissions (Constant Sampling Rate Procedure).
