Training and Education

Hygiene & Sanitation Audits
NSF Food Safety Auditors check conformance with internationally recognized Codex General Principles of Food Hygiene and Codex Codes of Practice. NSF International Food Safety Auditors work with companies to ensure that there are effective systems in place for sanitary food processing. NSF International Food Safety Auditors are also qualified to verify compliance with U.S. FDA and USDA regulations for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).

HACCP Validation
Is your HACCP plan valid? NSF International food safety experts review the hazard analysis and evaluate the scientific basis for the critical control points (CCPs) and critical limits (CLs) in HACCP plans. NSF International Food Safety Auditors confirm that the HACCP plan provides effective control of known food safety hazards.

HACCP Verification & Registration
An NSF International registration communicates to customers and regulators that the HACCP plan effectively achieves food safety objectives. Companies that successfully complete NSF International audits for hygiene and sanitation, HACCP validation and HACCP verification earn both a "registered" status and a highly regarded NSF International certificate. Registration includes follow-up audits.

HACCP-9000 Registration
The HACCP-9000 Registration program equips companies with a single system for managing food safety and quality. HACCP-9000 integrates food hygiene practices, HACCP, and ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 into one management system to assure the ultimate in food safety and quality for food processing facilities and food service establishments worldwide.
