Grease and Grit Removal System

Hi-Tech's ProTechtor, traveling bridge grease and grit removal system, minimizes the risk of costly down time. The system simultaneously removes both grease and grit from the influent stream. The removal of these harmful particulates plays a key role in minimizing wear and tear of downstream equipment, parts, bearings, etc. The system also contributes to the reduction of BOD and TSS due to the pre-aeration process.

The system is available in a pre-assembled steel basin design, rather than concrete. The steel basin is ideal for use in industrial pre-treatment. The entire bridge is delivered assembled, and requires minimal field hook-ups. The steel module is moveable and can be relocated if required.
