Weighing in at just 16 oz, the Bodyguard 4 personal gas monitoring device from Bacharach is a compact, lightweight, and rugged gas detection instrument with features that make it convenient for use in a variety of industries. The case is constructed of lightweight metalized plastic and comes in a leather carrying case for further protection; it attaches easily to a belt. A shoulder strap and a variety of unique user friendly accessories are also available. It monitors up to four gases with high-intensity audible and visual alarms and is ideal for potentially hazardous environments and confined space entry. Interchangeable alkaline or nickel metal hydride batteries power the Bodyguard 4.

Three buttons on the instrument display panel for power up, backlight, and display change can easily operate the Bodyguard 4. Sealed tamperproof buttons control calibration; adjustable audio and visual alarm set levels and operational parameters. Bacharach offers a 4-year warranty and 4-year free calibration service (twice per year) on the Bodyguard 4.
