Gas Flowmeter

Fluid Components International (FCI)for gas flowmeter applications, the FlexMASSter ST98 flowmeter series is available in integral and remote configurations as well as weather-resistant or weather resistant/explosion proof housings. With a flow range from 0.75 SPS for the insertion unit and 0.006 for the inline, this unit offers low-flow sensitivity and the ability to operate over a 00:1 turndown. The meter can read velocities to 600 SFPS. An RS232C serial port interfaces with either the company's communicator, a remote computer r with any SCII terminal. Standard outputs include 4-20 mA, 0-5 Vdc o 0-10Vdc.

The system's sensing element is comprised of two all-welded 316 stainless tell thermowells designed to protect resistance temperature dectectors (RTDs). The standard flow elements have adjustable insertion lengths and are available in sizes of 1-6, 1-12 and 1-21 in. The process connection is a ¾-in. NPT or flanged compression fitting with a Teflon or stainless steel ferrule.
