Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) - The American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS) is offering Basic Gas and Air Filtration short course training on October 5th in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
To kickoff the 4th Biennial Emissions Solutions Conference, October 5-8, 2009, that the American Filtration and Separations Society (AFS) is holding in Ann Arbor, Michigan, there will be six short courses on October 5, 2009. One of these courses is "Basics of Gas and Air Filtration and Separation."
In the "Basic Gas and Air Filtration & Separation" course, attendees will learn the overall spectrum of solid/gas separation. They will gain the basic understanding of the principles behind gas filtration so they can determine what type of filter will meet their requirements. There is an overview of the various competing technologies.
This course will cover; Particles and Fluid Properties; Principles of Gas Filtration; Gas Filtration Equipment; Gas Filtration Media; Filter Aids; and Gas Filter Performance, Testing and Standards. The course begins at 8:00 am and concludes at 5:00 pm. Lunch is included.
This course is taught by a team of instructors that are experts in the field with combine experience of over 75 years.
