Avacus, Inc.Dx-4000 portable, multi-component gas analyzer can simultaneously detect and analyze up to 30 different (inorganic or organic) gases or vapors, and can measure concentration levels from ppm to percent. The company claims that this unit is the smallest (18 in. x 18 in. x 9 in.) and lightest (31 lb) FTIR analyzer on the market. The rugged design, stable interferometer, rapid deployment and set-up, and optional 12-volt DC operation are designed to enhance to system's mobility. This product features a temperature controlled gas sample cell that can be heated up to 200°C, eliminating condensation and complying with EPA FTIR methods. This gas cell has long-term corrosion resistance for continuous monitoring of hot, wet, corrosive samples.
Applications for the system include industrial hygiene, emissions monitoring, HAZMAT, ambient air quality, and on-line analysis.
