Flow Transmitter

The XMT868 ultrasonic flow transmitter combines state-of-the-art flow measurement capability with a transmitter package that measures only 8.2 in. x 6.6 in., weighs 10 lb., and can be installed right at the process measurement point.

According to the manufacturer, the all-digital transmitter has no moving parts, does not need regular maintenance, and provides drift-free operation. An on-board microprocessor provides exclusive digital signal coding and correlation detection routines, automatic adjustment to changing fluid properties, dynamically-configured operating software to simplify programming, and built-in energy flow measurement (with optional RTDs and input board).

The unit is well suited for use in applications such as water and wastewater management, sewage treatment, semiconductor manufacturing, hydroelectric, fossil fuel, and nuclear power, pulp and paper, energy measurement, and more. Measurement in noncontaminating, obstructionless, and causes no pressure drop.
