Flame Arrester

Whessoe Varec000/5010 series flame arresters are used in wet, dirty gas normally found in biogas plants. The device is enclosed in a unitized housing that lets you remove and replace the element without changing pipe stresses. Each sheet of the element can be cleaned, which speeds maintenance and reduces downtime.

The arrester can be used alone on vent or compressor lines or with a thermal shutoff valve for boilers or waste gas flares. It also can be used with a 2010A/2020A relief valve for safe venting of digesters.
