EQ Resource Recovery wins QS-9002 Certification
EQRR, is an ISO 14001-certified solvent recovery, chemical recycling and fuel blending facility located in Romulus, Michigan. The facility uses spent chemicals such as paint purge fluids and aircraft deicing fluids to manufacturer new, clean chemical products that can be used in a variety of industrial applications.
"Our facility is the first in the environmental services industry to receive QS-9002 certification," stressed EQ Vice President Timothy Tilotti. "The certification is a concrete demonstration that EQ is totally committed to understanding and meeting the quality needs and expectations of all our customers."
Tilotti said EQ Resource Recovery, Inc. has also enhanced its ability to meet a wide variety of environmental challenges by adding several new service lines, including: non hazardous wastewater treatment; advanced chemical recycling; and oil-water separation and oil recovery. In addition, the facility features an advanced thermal oxidation system to minimize VOC emissions and virtually eliminate off-site odors.
