Ecology And Environment, Inc. Awarded Regional EPA Superfund Contract

Buffalo, NY — Ecology and Environment, Inc. has been awarded a multi-year regional contract to provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with technical support for cleanups of oil, petroleum and hazardous substances that pose a threat to the public in EPA's Region 10. With all option years the contract could total $49 million over seven years.

Details—The contract dubbed "Start III" for Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team covers the four state area of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The scope includes services for emergency response, including elements of counter terrorism/domestic preparedness and prevention, oil spill and chemical releases, site assessments and generally any support activity to prevent pollution or contaminant exposure to human health and welfare or to the environment. The contract will be serviced from the company's offices in Anchorage, AK; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA and Buffalo, NY headquarters.
