A simple 12-inch deep bed of random-dumped Brush-Pack elements provides a demisting efficiency of 99.9+% through the 5-micron size mist range. The variabledensity Brush-Pack bed also has the unique ability to remove solid particulates along with liquid mists, without plugging. This property has led to the use of Brush-Pack in challenging applications such as tobacco dust/fume and cupola scrubbers. Pressure drop is 0.3" W.C./foot at 400 fpm. Brush-Pack is now available in 316L SS as standard, and in alloy or thermoplastics on special order.
