The Phoenix Instruments MODEL 1000 Continuous Emissions Monitoring System sets a new standard of excellence for EPA Compliance Monitoring of stack gas emissions
The Phoenix Instruments MODEL 1000 Continuous Emissions Monitoring System sets a new standard of excellence for EPA Compliance Monitoring of stack gas emissions. The MODEL 1000 utilizes the industry standard "Dilution Extraction" method using a probe design with many years of proven reliability. Using dilution extraction technology allows the use of unheated extraction umbilical cables. It eliminates the need for sample refrigeration dryers and other "dirty" sample handling hardware.

The MODEL 1000's industrial rack mounted computer and Dilution Controller schedule gas sapling and probe back flushing, as well as daily system Zero and Span gas calibrations. EPA required quarterly cylinder gas audits can be easily performed under computer control without any hardware reconfiguration.

A sophisticated, built in diagnostics system constantly monitors system operating pressures and identifies any system deterioration before it becomes a problem. If a system fault is detected or deterioration exceeds predetermined levels, a diagnostic message is displayed on the screen alerting the operator. A built in modem provides telecommunication capability for remote system monitoring and diagnosis. Phoenix service engineers can access the system from the factory allowing rapid identification and resolution of problems thereby reducing down-time.
