Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts At Yellowstone Earns 2007 Ecostar Award

Buffalo, NY – Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at Yellowstone recently earned a 2007 EcoStar Award. The award recognizes those companies and organizations leading the way in pollution prevention. It's also another accomplishment which can be attributed to the company's innovative resource-management system, GreenPath .

"At Yellowstone and wherever Delaware North Parks and Resorts operates around the country, we are committed to taking care of our environment and natural resources," stated Derek Zwickey, Delaware North Companies regional general manager. "Our efforts go far beyond pollution prevention and we are honored to accept this award which recognizes our hard work."

The company will be honored at the EcoStar Award winners' reception with Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer on Thursday, September 20th from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bozeman City Library. The reception is in conjunction with National Pollution Prevention week which runs from September 17 to September 23.

The EcoStar Awards were developed in 2000 and recognize the commitment and contributions of individuals, organizations, groups and businesses to our environment. This year, over two dozen businesses and organizations focused on pollution prevention and championing the sustainability movement in Montana will be honored.
