Operating in real time, this stand-alone PC-based platform provides the environmental and operational visibility and connectivity needs related to the performance of continuous-emissions-monitoring (CEM) systems. Monitor Labs, Inc.It features a Windows-user interface for graphical trending, tabular displays, alarm notification and reporting. It minimizes operator involvement by calculating permitted parameters, verifying measurement system integrity, and implementing data-substitution algorithms when required for reporting. The alarm notification feature prompts an operator for real-time reason code/event comment input to make downtime and excess emissions reporting easier. Monitor Labs, Inc.The unit interfaces to many types of CEM systems and continuous opacity-monitoring systems (COMS) through one of several programmable controllers.
