Critical Orifice Calibration Standards

Perform pre-test and post-test dry gas meter calibrations immediately, on-site and at test conditions. Critical orifices may be used as calibration standards in place of the wet test meter, as stated in 40 CFR, Pt. 60, App. A, Method 5, Section 7.2. Alleviate the problems arising from transport of the metering console between test and calibrations that jeopardize test results. Each critical orifice set contains five calibrated precision orifices ranging from 10 -34 LPM flow rates as specified in Method 5, each with a ½ in. quick connect stem for insertion into the console sample inlet. Sets are available in stainless steel or brass and include a dry gas meter calibration spreadsheet diskette, recording logs, orifice set calibration report, and a dust-proof, foam-lined carrying case.
