Perma-Pipe's Multi-Therm 500 is the prefabricated, preinsulated piping system that combines steel and the corrosion resistance of fiberglass. It can distribute steam and hot water up to 500 °F. The steel service pipe is insulated with cellular glass insulation and contained within a drainable, dryable, pressure testable steel conduit. The steel containment pipe is coated with an additional layer of polyurethane foam and jacketed with fiberglass. The system can also be equipped with cable type leak detection.
