Whessoe Varec 233 condensate and sediment trap is designed to remove liquids and solids from wet, dirty biogas, which helps protect downstream equipment from corrosion, clogging, or water hammer.
The device installs directly downstream from each digester in order to remove condensed water. Centrifugal force and a sharp drop in velocity as the gas enters the trap aid in removal of liquids and solids.
Features include a working pressure of 25 psi, large reservoir capacity, welded steel construction, easy cleaning, and optional galvanized finish.
