Baseline® Releases Flame Ionization Detector (FID) For 9100 Series GC

Source: Baseline Inc.

Baseline® a MOCON® company announces the addition of a flame ionization detector (FID) in the 9100 Series On-Line Gas Chromatograph. As one of the more sensitive and stable detectors, the FID expands the available application base for the Series 9100 GC to include fast C1 to C5, C6 and up, methane, methanol and ethanol, acrylonitrile and many more.

The FID detector provides the best detection capabilities for hydrocarbon compounds and other VOC’s, because it is unaffected by other background gases. Incorporating this robust detector into the 9100 Series is the key to good linearity and increased sensitivity over a broad dynamic range.

The Series 9100 Gas Chromatograph offers state of the art features including fully integrated GC software, programmable touchscreen and USB Interface for memory stick, mouse or keyboard use. Remote access and control, automatic calibration and internal data storage allow for unattended operation. Other attributes include a LAN connection, analog outputs, relays, multipoint sampling and a graphical display of current or historic concentrations.
