Air Force Awards MWH Worldwide Environmental And Engineering Services Contract
Broomfield, CO - MWH, a global provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, announced recently that it has been selected by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) to provide environmental and architect-engineering (AE) services.
Awarded under AFCEE's 4P AE 08 program, the worldwide contract is a five-year, multiple-award agreement with a maximum value of $3B. The 4P AE 08 is a follow-on program to the $1.1B 4P AE program, which commenced in 2003. As a contractor for the original 4P contract, MWH has performed nearly $200M in engineering design, studies, environmental investigations and operations and maintenance.
The 4P AE 08 contract includes Title I, Title II and other AE Services to support environmental, military construction, military family housing, and facility sustainment, restoration and modernization (S/RM) programs for the Air Force. This contract will be utilized to support Air Force programs worldwide.
MWH will provide a full range of services including restoration, conservation, compliance, and pollution prevention. The company may also provide design for construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities, as well as support the implementation of the Family Housing Master Plan Program, the Dormitory Master Plan Program and Base Comprehensive Plans.
