The 1440C is a cost effective, high performance solution for a variety of environmental, industrial and laboratory applications.
Servomex introduces further advancements to its 1400 series of Light Industrial Gas Analyzers with the release of the 1440C. The 1440C is a cost effective, high performance solution for a variety of environmental, industrial and laboratory applications. Typical applications include continuous emission monitoring of oxygen and carbon dioxide; measurement of carbon dioxide for greenhouse gas emissions inventory; measurement of oxygen and carbon dioxide during fruit storage in controlled atmospheres; the measurement atmospheres in controlled and modified atmospheric packaging in the food industry; the monitoring of oxygen and carbon dioxide during fermentation, landfill gas monitoring for carbon dioxide, methane and oxygen; the verification of oxygen in cylinder filling and blending at industrial gas companies and a number of other general purpose, light industrial applications.

The 1440C offers highly accurate measurements of oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and ethane at affordable prices. Therefore, many system integrators use the 1440C. The 1440C is tested to the European Low Voltage Directive and bears the CE mark. As are all Servomex analyzers, the 1440C is Y2K compliant. Variants of the standard analyzer are offered for toxic and flammable gas samples.

The 1440C Series was launched in the 1980's. Since then, a series of enhancements including new gas sensors and additional measurements have increased the analyzers' performance capabilities. The addition of the patented Servomex 1500 Series infrared bench eliminated the chopper motor, traditionally a high maintenance item in infrared analyzers. The 1440C uses the Servomex's1155B magneto-dynamic paramagnetic oxygen transducer, the latest in Servomex oxygen technology. This oxygen sensor is not affected by the thermal conductivity of the background gas, as is the thermal magnetic paramagnetic technique.

The large digital display indicates current gas concentration and LED's indicate system status. All controls are easily assessable from the front of the analyzer.
