1085 & 1095 Series Chillers for SO³

Universal Analyzers Inc. offers the PLC Controlled Models 1085 & 1095 Thermoelectric Gas Sample Chiller, designed for efficient removal of S0³ Aerosols from Stack Gas Samples. The 1085/95 cooler operates special packed Kynar/Glass Impingers at minus 25°C for efficient removal of the Acid Mist with minimum loss of SO². The Chiller capacity is up to 7 Liters/minute @ 30% H²0. Kynar/Glass Impingers are used for tolerance to corrosive samples.

A four line Alpha-Numeric Operator Interface displays Time Online, System Status, Alarm Status and allows Manual Operation. The PLC alternates the freezer columns based on time or sample flow rate - Frozen Column. PLC control offers the advantage of being able to pre-cool the alternate column to minus 10°C before the column is brought on-line.

The PLC can Monitor and Alarm:

• Low Probe Temperature
• High Inlet Vacuum
• High Chiller Temp.- 3 Channels
• Low Flow - Column Frozen
• Water Carry-over.

Alarms are displayed, on the Operator Interface, and are available as a Malfunction Contact.

The Model 1095 S0³ Chiller is Complete sample conditioning system with four 10" Kynar/Glass Impingers. The 1095 S0³ is offered for new applications with known Acid Aerosol problems, while the 1085 is designed to be located after an existing chiller to provide S0³ Aerosol removal.
