Mt. Fury Company, Inc.del 680 VIS/NIR Analyzer with the AF20 Inline Sensor Series measures the spectral absorbance of liquids flowing through a sample chamber. The optical pathlength is determined by the window selected and the line size of the sensor. The wavelength of the measurement is controlled by the lamp and the optical filter chosen. Measurements are displayed on the system's digital readout as optical density units or 0100%, for example NIR alcohol in water.
Selection of the optical filters is based on the spectral absorbance characteristics of the sample being measured. The customer may supply spectrophotometric curves or laboratory analysis of the liquid to be monitored, or provide samples for laboratory testing to determine the spectral range.
