Designed to measure liquids in pipe sizes from 2 to 100 in., the Sono-Trak clamp-on transit time ultrasonic flowmeter utilizes non-intrusive flow measurement technology. This product measures liquids using transit time and domain expansion technology, improves accuracy, and increases resolution. Accurate up to 0.5% of rate with precise pipeline dimensional measurement and adequate straight run piping, typical field accuracy of 1-2% and a 0.1% of rate repeatability. Its available outputs are 4-20mA, Frequency, RS-232, RS-485, and, coming soon, Dual Relay and BTU options.
The clamp-on non-intrusive design, using all stainless steel clamps, helps assure fast and easy installation. Typical installations take less than 30 minutes, without having to shutdown the line. With no moving parts to wear out over time, flowmeter maintenance is non-existent, and the non-intrusive transmitters means there is no liquid contamination.
