Monitor Technolgies' Model SFI is a Microwave Solids Flow Indicator which provides non-contact, non-intrusive mass flow indication of powders or granular solids moving through pneumatic lines, feeders or gravity chutes.
The indicator is a microwave transceiver (combination transmitter/receiver) encased in a cast aluminum housing with a screw-on cover. Measuring disturbances via low energy microwaves, the product converts those disturbances into an analog output with a signal relative to the material flow rate.
