The Flexgate slurry knife gate from Red Valve is now available in an open bottom, "slotted" configuration. For customers who prefer this flush-through design, the Flexgate has been redesigned with new seats and a new gate. The seats remain tightly closed when the gate is retracted, and material is purged out the open bottom of the valve when the valve is cycled to prevent buildup beneath the gate.
The gate features a robust cast body and top works, 316SS gate and replaceable rubber seats with a bi-directional seal. An inverted stuffing box allows easy access to packing material without removing the valve body from the line.
