THE COMPANY
LSR Technologies, Inc. has provided innovative solutions to difficult industrial separations since 1989. The Company has supplied technically innovative equipment and systems for recovering products as well as for emissions control. In this regard, the Company has been directly involved with several demonstrations and "technology-firsts." As a result, LSR has gained an international reputation in the area of physical and chemical separations, emissions monitoring, airborne particle sampling, and purification.

TECHNOLOGIES
LSR has a world-class R&D capability and holds patents on several leading-edge technologies. In 1996, Its Core Separator™ was selected for the prestigious R&D 100 Award, given annually to the most important technology-based new products of the year, not only in the U.S. but worldwide. Its electrostatically enhanced Core Separator called ElectroCore™, is a novel particulate control device, and has been successfully demonstrated at a major U.S. utility. LSR has also developed high-volume air samplers used to detect and monitor presence of trace airborne particles in ambient air. A supported liquid membrane system developed for liquid-liquid separations has been used to separate radioactive wastes stored at national laboratories. It is also being used to produce high-purity metals, making it one of the first commercial liquid membranes.

FACILITIES
Acton, Massachusetts is the location of the LSR's national headquarters and home of its state-of-the-art laboratory. The lab facility contains several prototype test units where customer trials can be performed and equipment performance verified.

MARKETS SERVED
LSR equipment is in operation in over sixty plants internationally for product recovery and for emissions control. Applications where LSR equipment have been utilized include minerals and metals processing, recovery of chemicals and catalysts, coal-fired power plants, furnaces, dryers, and wood-fired boilers.
