American Environmental International, Inc. (AEI)he kinetic energy of gas for the removal of fine particulate matter, the Venturi scrubber can be used as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with chemical absorption packed tower scrubbers to control particulate and gas phase contaminants. The unit has a venturi shaped restriction designed to accelerate the exhaust gas stream to a high velocity. Water is introduced at the throat section and is atomized by the high velocity gas. Dust particles collide with the atomized water and are entrained by the mechanism of inertial impaction, and are then removed by a cyclonic separator.
This system can be used where ceiling heights are limited or for roof mounting. Multi-bed cross-flow scrubbers can remove two or more gas contaminants by selectively scrubbing with different liquids in two or more packed beds respectively. Accessories available for this unit include:
Automatic control valves
Chemical feed pump/systems
Damper actuators and controls
Electrical control panels
Flow monitors and recorders
Liquid level controls
pH controls
Pressure differential monitors
Recirculation piping
Skid mounted systems
Temperature monitors and recorders
