The open structure and resistance to nesting provide protection against fouling and plugging. Hiflow Rings are available in a wide variety of sizes and materials of construction. Available materials include thermoplastics, metals, and ceramics. Typical applications include large volume processes where low-pressure drop can translate into significant operating cost savings. Other applications include processes with high solids loading that tend to foul and plug other packing.
