The Sonabox is an acoustic enclosure designed for the use of all Misonix sonicators. Open vessel sonication will produce cavitation noise levels that might be disturbing with long exposures. The sound emitted from the generator or horn, operate at a frequency above that of normal hearing. It is produced by harmonics emanating from the vessel walls and the liquid surface. The Sonabox Acoustic Enclosure permits extended operation of all the Misonix sonicators without the discomfort associated with continuous processing noise.
